1. Check-in time is after 4:00 pm, AST

    Check-out time is by 11:00 am, AST

 

2. This is a non-smoking cottage

 

3. Pets are not allowed, except when pre-discussed with owners

 

4. We do not rent to individuals under 25 years of age, except when

accompanied by adult guardian or parent or pre-discussed with owners

 

5. A damage deposit of $250.00 is required, due at check-in time

 

The damage deposit is not applied toward rent, but is fully refundable within 10 days after departure, provided the following provisions are met:

 

(1) No damage is done to unit, its contents, or the property, beyond normal wear and tear

(2) No garbage bags are being left in/at the cottage

(3) All keys are given back at check-out time

(4) All charges accrued during the stay are paid prior to departure

(5) No linens are lost or damaged

(6) Dishes and cutlery are washed up and back in cupboards/Kitchen counters are cleaned.

(7) All floors are vacuum cleaned/wiped

 

6.  Payment:

 

For weekly rentals, an advance payment of 30% of the BALANCE OF RENT is required upon booking, which is applied toward the rent. The advance payment is not a damage deposit. The remaining balance of rent is due 30 days prior to your arrival date.

 

We accept Interac E-Transfer.

 

7. Cancellations:

 

A fortyfive(45) day notice is required for cancellation. Cancellations that are made more than fortyfive (45) days prior to the arrival date will incur no penalty. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within 45 days of the arrival date forfeit the full advance payment. Cancellation or early departure does not warrant any refund of rent or deposit.

 

8. Maximum Occupancy:

 

The maximum number of guests at The Captain´s Den is limited to six (6) persons.

An additional charge of $50.00 per person per night for guests in addition to six (6) will be assessed.

 

9. No Housekeeping Service:

 

While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, housekeeping service is not included in the rental rate. We suggest you bring beach towels.

Please leave the cottage as tidy as you found it at check-in.

 

 10. Falsified reservations:

 

Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment, deposit, and/or rental money, and the party will not be permitted to check-in

 

 11. Written exceptions:

 

Any exceptions to the above mentioned policies must be approved in writing in advance
